ACH & Direct Deposit
Grand Trunk (BC) Employees Federal Credit offers electronic services to make paying and receiving funds easier and more convenient.
Automated Clearing House (ACH)
ACH allows you to set up your payments electronically without using your debit card or writing a check. This electronic service is convenient for insurance, TV/cable, phone, and other monthly, reoccurring payments. For your protection, this type of transaction is valid only when 1) There is an existing relationship between a company and you, the consumer, or 2) No existing relationship exists, but you have initiated the transaction. You will need the Routing & Transit number along with your full account number to provide to the biller to get the payment set up smoothly. Please contact us if you need to confirm your full account number to avoid any payment interruptions.
To get your full account number you will use your member number plus the account suffix you are using:
- Savings Member number 123456 + 000 suffix = full account number 123456000
- Checking Member number 123456 + 003 suffix = full account number 123456003
Direct Deposits (Direct Deposit Form)
Direct deposit is safer than a paycheck because your pay is automatically deposited into your account, meaning no more risk of a lost, stolen, or delayed paper check. This is one of the most confidential methods of processing a paycheck and you won’t have to spend valuable time cashing or depositing it since direct deposit does it for you. With direct deposit you can have your entire pay deposited into one account or split your pay among several accounts, making it easy to automatically set a certain amount for your share account and/or share draft account. You will need the Routing & Transit number and your full account number for direct deposit as well.
